It is well with my soul right?
Yesterday morning at church we sang “It is Well”… You may know this beautiful old hymn. But, in the middle of it – I had to stop singing as the thought came…
“What if it isn’t well with my soul?”
Today I’m listening to my playlist on Pandora and the song “It is Well” plays…
“Through it all – through it all – my eyes are on You.”
When it isn’t well – that is when I must reflect and remember who my King is.
“Let go my soul… and trust in Him –
Waves and wind still know His name.”
When I come into His presence my perspective on my circumstances changes.
Then… and only then… can I say it is well.
It is well… with my soul.
