Did you know that when you share your story… you are sharing His story?

A small group of ladies at our church went through Ann Voskamp’s 1000 Gifts Bible Study. Ann’s encouragement to be disciplined to watch for gifts in our lives is overwhelming.

So beautiful.

And, over and over again as we dug in deeper to learn what these gifts look like, I realized that we absolutely must share our stories to understand the beauty of these gifts.

This blog started out as a sort of journal for me… an outlet for me to process through some of what the Lord is teaching me. Over the years I would share a bit here and a bit there… but, it wasn’t until I found out that my husband was losing his job that I realized how much I needed to be writing here.

I have been so humbled by the response as many of you have shared your own story with me…
such amazing beauty – even in the midst of the ugly.

I really had no plans to grow this blog beyond my own ‘journal’… but, slowly doors have been opening and I have moved beyond my own plans to put together a short 5 Day Devotional for you.
