about
Hi! Welcome to No Longer Ashes… my name is Jenni and I’m a wife since 1991, a mother of 3 crazy kiddos. I home-school my kids and also run my own online business helping others learn about how to make a profit by sharing their passion online. I love helping moms stay home with their kids and I find a lot of joy in coaching moms with their online business so they can… But, this blog is more about my personal journey. The Lord is always at work in our lives… even in the super dry seasons when it feels like He is so far away… this past year has been a year of trusting Him to work… trusting Him to take the ashes in my life and turn them to beauty that only He can give. I am still on this journey… and I have a LOT of ashes in my life to let go of… but, it is my hope that somehow sharing some of my story will encourage you in your walk with the King… and perhaps you will want to share a little of your own story as well! I imagine you will see this verse pop up a lot on this blog… I often cling to it! “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord. Let your heart take courage. Yes, wait on the Lord.” Psalm 27:13-14 ~Jenni
**Occasionally I will share about a book that has touched my heart or helped me in my own journey. Sometimes I will use an affiliate link when I do… this doesn’t cost you anything. If you choose to buy something I might recommend, an affiliate link will simply give me a small percentage of the sale. The cost is the same to you whether you buy through an affiliate link or not – and sometimes, it is even less if you use an affiliate link 😉

Hi Jenni! My name is Trish Thompson. I just joined the Women’s Leadership team at Bayside of Placerville, with whom you’ll be serving in Sept. at our retreat. I am SO looking forward to meeting you! Please know that I have been and will continue to pray that you are a filled and equipped vessel of our Lord’s that He will use to pour out many blessings at our retreat.
I’ve just read your “Sacred Valleys” blog. Quite the tear jerker! Not only do we have a beloved black lab who, like your sweet Belle will do anything for a cuddle, but I also just experienced the loss of my mother last Christmas. Your words were an encouragement to me in my own voyage of learning to mourn well. More than anything, the Lord directs me to balance my grief with thanksgiving for all my mom was to our family, and that she is with Him now in glory.
As you give to others, may the Lord pour into your heart “a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over . . .”!
Blessings! ~ Trish Thompson
Hi Trish ~
Thank you for stopping by 😉 So sorry to hear of your own journey of grief… thankful that you do not grieve without hope! Thank you for your prayers – I am very excited about our upcoming time together at retreat! I know God is already working great things!
