It is so beautiful the way we fall apart

Sometimes I have to search for the beauty in my circumstances… this month I have been learning that I might be looking where it can’t be found.

The beauty I’m searching for simply can’t be found in the chaos around me.

The beauty I’m searching for is found in the work my Lord does regardless of the circumstances I face.

This beauty is to be found today.
Now.
No matter what I face.

When I start gazing at the stuff going around me and all the broken ugly…
I get overwhelmed and want to hide.

But, when my gaze is on what God is doing in my heart…
in the heart’s of my family and friends.

When I search for His mighty hand in the midst of ugly,
it is beautiful.

This month,
I’ve been learning more about how beautiful it is when we fall apart…

When my circumstances bring me to a place of recognizing my complete and utter weakness,
my God… HE IS THERE.

And, He is creating unmeasurable beautiful.

Today is the last day of the 31 Day Challenge: My Ugly, His Beautiful…
but, it isn’t the end of the work He has begun.
