beat the rush

 

Oh – this rush.

It doesn’t feel right, you know?

Fitting everything in just so…

Running from one Christmas event to the next on these jam-packed days.

I’m not ready.

We got the tree home and all I could see was the mess and disorder… and it stressed me out – and I may have been grumpy.

Here is the thing…
in this season of the holidays, I want to look at it differently.
I don’t want to go through the motions of tradition without reflecting and dwelling on why we are celebrating.

But, there are things to do, right?… preparations to be done… and plenty of blog posts out there ready to tell you exactly how you can get it all done AND have a “stress-free” Christmas…

but, who has time to read them?

As I was asking the Lord to open my eyes to see Christmas differently this year… you won’t believe what came to mind.
